Rejected by the academy, Mario decided to make his own way. Spain was a country that seduced him: it was a great center of editorial production, a place that was considered a graphic reference and where people he admired and studied worked, such as Enric Satué, Carlos Rolando and América Sánchez. The universe of Mario Eskenazi in Spanish graphic design 14 Design for El Bulli. the first chance America Sanchez was an Argentine photographer, cartoonist, teacher and graphic designer who had already begun a strong career in Spain. That trajectory, years later, would lead him to be considered one of the most prestigious and influential graphic designers in Real Estate Photo Editing in that country, in particular for his work as a creator of Barcelona icons. Sanchez hired Mario without even seeing his portfolio, simply because he liked him. For Mario, this would be the beginning of a long list of collaborations with people he admired and would immerse him in the emerging graphic design scene in the Spanish-speaking universe.
From then on, Mario would begin a long and fruitful career in the country, to the point that his author's signature would begin to become part of the same visual identity of many cities, projects and products that Spaniards recognize at a glance.
